Dublin HELP Awards Celebrate Volunteer Service

On International Volunteer Recognition Day 2026, the Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin hosted the sixth edition of its annual HELP Awards, recognising individuals and organisations whose work has supported communities across Ireland. The ceremony drew volunteers, civic figures, human rights advocates and past awardees for a celebration of service to others.

Frank Allen, previous awardee, playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher, gave the keynote address. Awardees included Walk And Talk with Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland with Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association with Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain with Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid from Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj and Neera Baj.

Established in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards celebrate those improving lives through community service. The event also highlighted the wider mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L.
